Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge three-star offensive lineman Daniel Pierre-Louis has committed to Florida State, according to On3Recruiting analyst Hayes Fawcett.
He chose the Seminoles over Florida and NC State, along with holding nearly two dozen offers during his recruitment process.
The 6-4 315-pound interior offensive lineman took an official visit to Florida State back earlier in the month and ultimately decided to pull the trigger following the trip. Pierre-Louis was also scheduled to visit with the University of Florida this weekend for their matchup against Kentucky but has canceled the visit.
“It was a really great atmosphere and love how the guys worked together, showing great leadership qualities on and off the field,” Pierre-Louis told Warchant.com
Head Coach Mike Norvell and offensive line coach Alex Atkins recruited Pierre-Louis really hard since they offered him back in July.
According to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, Pierre-Louis is the No. 1006 ranked player in the nation, the No. 63 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 132 overall ranked player in the state of Florida.
Florida State now has 12 commits in the upcoming cycle as well as the fourth offensive lineman as Pierre-Louis joins Raines (Jacksonville, Fla.) four-star offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, Houston County (Ga.) four-star offensive lineman Peyton Joseph, and Kemper County (DeKalb, Miss.) four-star offensive lineman Mario Nash Jr.
