Montverde Academy (Fla.) 2025 four-star shooting guard Dante Allen is down to four schools in his recruitment.
MIAMI, Fla.- Dante Allen, A 4-star senior guard out of Montverde Academy (Fla.) has narrowed down the top schools in his recruitment to four. Georgia, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Villanova are the four schools chasing Allen.
“These four schools have reached out to me the most and have expressed a ton of interest in me since the beginning,” Allen told 247Sports.
According to 247Sports, Allen is ranked No. 81 in the nation and the 14th overall player in Florida.
Playing for Nightrydas during the EYBL circuit, Allen put up some efficient numbers where he averaged 14.5 points and nearly four rebounds per game helping lead them to a 15-1 record overall and winning the Peach Jam for a third consecutive year.
After spending the previous three seasons at Riviera Prep, Allen played a pivotal role in helping lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back Class 3A state championships, where he averaged over 20 points per game as a sophomore and junior.
Allen plays with a ton of physicality and has an excellent feel of the game on both ends of the floor as well as having elite athleticism. Offensively, Allen is a perennial three-level scorer and a dynamic playmaker when out on the floor. On the defensive end, Allen is very versatile where he can guard multiple positions and has a hard nose for being active in the passing lanes.
Allen has also scheduled an official visit with Villanova for September 21 and has more visits scheduled after that before setting a commitment date.
