As we get set for another high school volleyball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. We will start with the senior class, followed by juniors, and then sophomores. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023 season.

Brown likes to use her size and length to her advantage when it comes to being aggressive. She plays in front of the net and covers a ton of ground where she can impact plays on both sides of the court. Brown is an exceptional prospect who I fully expect to improve for the Raiders this season.

#87 Sophie Thompson- Oak Hall

Thompson may get underestimated because of her height, but she brings a ton of presence vocally as well as getting her teammates involved. She’s a highly skilled passer as well as doing a great job when it comes to keeping plays alive with her quickness. Thompson is consistently getting better and can make a huge difference at the next level.

#86 Ariel Ross- Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville)

Ross plays with a ton of quick reactions and has the speed to cover part of the court herself. She also plays with a high motor and is very disciplined on the defensive end. Look for Ross to have an emerging senior season and can play a key role for the Lady Noles the next four seasons.

Rutherford has extremely high court vision where she finds gaps in her blocking ability. Rutherford has been very consistent when it comes to playing in the front of the net as she maintains all six rotation spots with comfortability. She has only been playing volleyball for a couple years, but the improvement in her game continues to rise every time she steps onto the court.
#82 McKayla Stockwell- Tocoi Creek

Position: Middle Hitter

Stockwell uses her vertical jump and her length to an advantage at times which causes her ability to control her arm swings. Stockwell does a great job when it comes to finding open floor space to make a play happen. McKayla often at times plays a big role on offense as well as defense where she has the athleticism to cover a ton of ground. Look for McKayla to have a breakout season where she can make an impact at the next level.

Mongin plays all over the floor and can wreak havoc on either side of the court as she hits seams from anywhere. Charlotte has a strong understanding of the game and has a consistent approach when it comes to attacking or passing. Mongin has strong intangibles where she can make an impact at the next level.
