Florida High School Basketball Top 100 Players Class of 2025 (50-41)


As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. We will start with the senior class, followed by juniors, and then sophomores. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.

#50 Patrick JohnsonGateway Charter– @PatJohnson0 on X

Position: Power Forward

The 6-8 senior power forward is dangerous around the rim on the offensive end where he can catch lobs as well as finish put-backs off misses. His mid-range shot has continued to improve as he is starting to expand his versatility into becoming a multi-level scorer. On the defensive end, he does a good job at challenging shots around the rim using his length and size to an advantage. Johnson also does a great job at rebounding and cleaning up the glass limiting the opposition into taking second chances.

Position: Combo Guard

Gayle can produce on all three levels at the offensive end of the floor, whether it’s off the catch or bounce. He also provides a smooth inside-out game where he is unafraid when it comes to scoring off bigger defenders. Defensively, his versatility speaks high volumes where he can guard positions 1 through 4 at a high level. College coaches need to start seeking this guy’s film as he has gradually improved year in and year out.

The 6-0 senior point guard can impact a game in a variety of ways whether it’s his pure shooting from the perimeter or his attack for the basket. Daniels is a sensational ball-handler who can get by defenders with his quickness and ability to switch hands. Defensively, he plays with a load of toughness where he can guard on and off the ball at a high level. Currently holds an offer from Santa Fe College and Southeastern University but don’t expect that to be his last offers as he gears up for his senior season.

Position: Wing

Brooks is a high-level athlete where he plays with a ton of length and explosiveness in the transition game. He also has a high IQ and is an accurate passer where he can find teammates in stride. Defensively, Brooks can guard positions 1 through 4 where his footwork has improved as well as his ability to challenge shots at the rim.

Position: Point Guard

Cherry is entering his first year playing high school basketball in the Sunshine State after coming over from Austin-East (TN) where he was one of the top-ranked point guards. His ability to change speeds and direction with the basketball has taken huge strides in his offensive game. He also adds limitless range where he can score on all three levels as well as defend with a ton of confidence. His activity in the passing lanes are off the charts and is only getting better. Cherry currently holds an offer from Auburn, California, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Radford, St. John’s and Tennessee.

The 6’10 senior power forward can score across all three levels on the offensive end as well as defend at a high level. Plays with a ton of poise and length in his game, where his ability to challenge shots at the front of the rim. He is also a very good rebounder and ball handler that can push the basketball up the floor in transition.

The 6-7 senior power forward is an absolute beast when it comes to scoring from the interior. On the offensive end, Mosley can score whether it’s on post-ups or dribble drives when he has the size advantage. On the defensive end, Mosley does a great job at challenging shots but his shot-blocking abilities haven’t gained much consistency yet. He still can impact the game with his rim protection and his willing to kick the ball ahead in transition off of missed shots.

The 6-11 center is a natural rim-runner who plays with a ton of length and upside. Offensively, he can score whether it’s inside or in the mid-range game. His defensive versatility also speaks high volumes where he can guard multiple positions and has elite footwork to defend the perimeter. Look for college coaches to start intriguing this prospect by the time his senior season begins.

Position: Power Forward

A 6-9 senior forward shows a lot of promise heading into his junior season, after spending the summer playing for the Puerto Rican U17 National Team. Stewart has no problem when it comes to finishing around the rim through traffic as he plays under control and doesn’t tend to make many mistakes on the offensive end. He also has great hands where he can catch tough passes as well as finish from the outside when left with space. On the defensive end, Stewart does a great job at staying in the paint crashing the boards playing with a ton of strength and physicality. He is also an above-average athlete where he can make plays happen on both ends of the floor.

Position: Combo Guard

Commitment: Tulsa

The 6-7 rising senior has good size and plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor. Out on the perimeter, Martin can play on-the-ball and off-the-ball at a high level as he brings a ton of quickness for his size as well as length where he can force up a tough shot. On the offensive end, Martin has good mechanics to finish efficiently around the rim as well as bring a pure mid-range game. Martin is also an elite rebounder on both ends and is unafraid to push the ball in transition without looking for a guard.
