We have reached the second half of the high school volleyball season in the Sunshine State. Due to Hurricane Helene, some teams ranked did not play last week and will make up some of their matchups later in the season.

The defending Class 7A Champion Plant Panthers keep their unbeaten stretch alive with a 3-set win over Sickles on Monday night. So far this season, senior outside hitters Lara Matta (Mercer commit) and Maggie Dostic (Tennessee commit) are leading the team.

The defending Class 7A runner-up Winter Park Wildcats are coming off an unbeaten week and will face a tough task facing No. 1 Plant on Saturday as part of a tri-match round-robin with Hagerty. Leading the team so far this season have been sophomore middle blocker Isabel Incinelli, junior outside hitter Amelia Mancino, and junior outside hitter Sophia Stallworth.
#3 Berkeley Prep (16-2)

The Buccaneers defeated Tampa Catholic in a five-set thriller back on September 24, before their marquee matchup with Carrollwood Day was canceled due to Hurricane Helene. They enter this week on a seven-match win streak dating back to September 17. Leading the team so far this season are senior setter Izzy Mogridge (Oregon commit) and senior libero Lily Hayes (Florida commit).
#4 Chiles (Tallahassee) (15-1)

This Week: vs Lincoln (Tallahassee) (Tues.), at Maclay (Wed.)
The Timberwolves increased their match-win streak to 12 games, with a 3-set sweep of Tallahassee Leon last week. Their current win streak dates back to August 27. Leading the team so far this season are senior outside hitter Kate Stewart (TCU commit), junior setter Eva Goodson, and junior outside hitter Lindsey Smith.

The Celtics make the HSSportsFlorida Top 5 Statewide volleyball rankings for the first time this season, following their 3-set sweep of St. John Lutheran back on September 24. Leading the team so far this season have been junior opposite Maddie Hewitson, sophomore outside hitter Ashlyn Hallick, and sophomore middle blocker Addyson Avery.

The defending Class 3A Champion Carrollwood Day Patriots were stunned in their last match, a 5-set loss to Tampa Prep. Leading the team so far this season have been sophomore outside hitter Lydia Chinchar, junior right-side hitter Elena Dibbs-Frantz, and sophomore outside hitter Giselle White.
