With Hurricane Milton approaching the Sunshine State, most of this week’s slate of games has been canceled and will not be made up. There is also a new No. 1 in this week’s rankings following a battle between the top two teams in the state.

The rankings are revealed every Tuesday throughout the high school volleyball season across the state of Florida. Check out below for the Week 8 poll.

The Wildcats are the new No. 1 team in the HSSportsFlorida Top 10 statewide volleyball rankings. Winter Park also enters the week on a 16-match win streak dating back to August 31.
Leading the team so far this season have been sophomore middle blocker Isabel Incinelli, junior outside hitter Amelia Mancino, and junior outside hitter Sophia Stallworth.

The Timberwolves have extended their match win streak to 15, with their straight-set win over Wakulla on Monday night. Leading the team so far this season are senior outside hitter Kate Stewart (TCU commit), junior setter Eva Goodson, and junior outside hitter Lindsey Smith.
