The Boozer twins are heading to Duke University, where their father Carlos played from 1999-2002.
Five-star power forward, Cameron and point guard Cayden Boozer of Christopher Columbus High School (Miami, Fla.) announced they had committed to Duke University on Friday morning. The Boozers picked the Blue Devils over Miami as it was a two-headed race during the final stretch of their recruitment.
The Boozers took unofficial visits to Durham back in August and September where Duke emerged as the leader.
This is the biggest commitment of the 2025 recruiting cycle and is arguably the biggest recruiting win for the Blue Devils in the Jon Scheyer era.
According to 247Sports, Cameron is the second-ranked prospect, top-ranked power forward, and is now the highest Duke commit in the modern era passing Cooper Flagg who re-classed to join the Blue Devils this season.
Cameron Boozer averaged 22.2 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.6 steals, and 2.1 blocks per game as a junior last season where he helped lead Columbus High School to their third consecutive state title.
According to 247Sports, Cayden is the 21st-ranked prospect, 4th-ranked point guard, and the 4th overall ranked prospect in Florida.
Cayden Boozer averaged 12.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game as a junior last season for the Explorers.
Not only have the Boozers won three consecutive state championships at the high school level, they also have won three consecutive EYBL Peach Jam titles with the Nightrydas Elite 15U, 16U, and 17U teams as well as winning two consecutive gold medals playing for the USA U16 and U17 national team.
Scouting Report on Cameron and Cayden Boozer, via 247Sports: Cameron is arguably the best player in high school basketball right now with his ability to impact winning on the biggest stages of grassroots. He’s a mismatch nightmare because he can impact the game inside and out. Cameron is a strong, physical and highly competitive prospect who owns the boards, scores at the rim, can attack bigs off the bounce and can stretch the floor out to three.
His twin brother, Cayden, is a 6-foot-4 point guard among the best floor generals and facilitators in the 2025 class. He racks up big assist numbers with how he sets the table for those around him but has made significant strides in his ability to shoot the ball.
