As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. After revealing the Top 100 seniors across the Sunshine State, we will now feature the junior class. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.

The 6’6 junior guard has a bright future and can score on all three levels at the offensive end. Moton has a true feel and great understanding of the game where he can create space and get timely shots off against the rest of them. On the defensive end, Moton is very versatile where he can guard multiple positions using his length and elite athleticism. He is also a wrecking havoc on the glass who is unafraid when it comes to pushing the basketball in transition as well as a proficient passer where he can find teammates in stride.

Thompson is known for his proficient 3-point shooting where he scored 42 percent from behind the arc last season as a sophomore. The 6’3 junior guard doesn’t need the ball in his hands to make an impact as he can facilitate to get his teammates involved. On the defensive end, he is quick and shifty when it comes to guarding on and off the ball. He is also a high-level rebounder for his size where he can quickly kick it ahead to an open teammate as well as showing a ton of fearlessness when it comes to finishing on the attack.

The 6’8 junior power forward plays with a great burst of speed for his size and frame. Machot is a shot-blocking machine where his length allows him to play at the front of the rim as well as out on the perimeter. He has added some muscle to his frame which will allow him to be a physical presence on the interior where he can finish above the rim. Look for Machot to have a breakout season this year which could draw attention to college coaches.

The 6-1 rising junior point guard plays with a huge presence on both ends of the floor. Roberts can play the primary point guard position as well as he brings a smooth handle and doesn’t get phased with pressure. His shot mechanics are impeccable where he has a high-release and can be very dangerous when it comes to finishing on the attack. His burst of speed on the defensive end allows him to guard on and off the ball at a high level and is an above-average rebounder for his size.

A 6-6 junior small forward who has proven he can be an inside-out threat as he is nearly impossible to stop when he is finishing above the rim. Kitenge has a strong frame who runs the floor extremely well and has great court vision for his size. On the defensive side, he plays with a ton of length where he can get tips and deflections leading to steals. Kitenge is also a dominate rebounder who limits the opposition from getting second chance scoring opportunities.

The 6-3 junior shooting guard is on the rise to become a top-tier prospect in the Class of 2026 as he can do it all on the floor, whether it’s his scoring, rebounding, or ability to block shots. His athleticism allows him to be creative on the offensive end whether it’s scoring off the catch or bounce. Kelly is a high IQ player who makes the right reads on the defensive end and has a strong nose for jumping the passing lanes. Kelly plays hard on both ends of the floor and should start to see his recruitment heat up soon.

The 6-5 junior combo guard has played with a major ton of confidence so far this season, where he displays a ton of athleticism. Piggot has speed and good court awareness when he has the basketball in his hands, as his IQ has improved. He can also score across all three levels, whether it’s off the catch or the bounce. He also has great awareness where he can draw fouls and get to the free-throw-line on the offensive end. His physical tendencies allow him to be a potent defender on and off the ball.

The 6-6 junior guard has been high-flying this season where he can impact the game in a variety of ways. Richardson does a lot of the dirty work where he makes hustle plays on both ends of the floor whether it’s keeping possessions alive on the offensive end or going after a loose ball on the defensive end. Jaxon plays with a high motor and good energy where he has huge upside for the next two years. On the glass, Jaxon is long and bouncy where he will limit the opposition from getting a second chance to score. His jump shot is still looking to gain consistency but has plenty of time to work things out on his offensive skillset.

The 6-1 junior point guard plays with a good combination of speed and knocks down shots in a hurry where he can create for his teammates. On the defensive end, he is an absolute menace where he can cover the full court with his pressure while guarding the ball. Kirk is a player worth keeping on your radar, as his game will continue to grow over the next two years.

The 6-5 junior small forward has very good intangibles in running the off-ball guard position on the defensive end. Russell is quick and athletic where he can guard against the perimeter or on the interior contesting tough shots. He is a perennial shot blocker and rebounder on the defensive end where he is quick to get the basketball in transition. He is a highly touted football recruit who holds offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn and several others.
