Florida High School Basketball Top 100 Players- Class of 2026 (10-1)


As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. After revealing the Top 100 seniors across the Sunshine State, we will now feature the junior class. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.

#10 Gabe WeisMontverde Academy@WeisGabe on X

Height: 6’7

Position: Small Forward

Offers: Cincinnati, Clemson, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, LSU, Missouri, Nebraska, Penn State, Texas A&M, West Virginia, Xavier

The 6’7 junior forward is fresh into the Sunshine State after playing his freshman and sophomore seasons at Washington County H.S. in Kentucky where he was regarded as one of the top prospects in the Midwest. Weis is a very tough guard who is hard to stop when he gets going as he is capable of scoring on all three levels at the offensive end of the floor. His defensive presence has continued to improve where he can guard on and off the ball at a high level, as well as an above-average rebounder for his size. Look for Weis to have a learning experience where he is crowded with 4-star and 5-star talent at Montverde Academy but is a very note-worthing prospect.

The 6-5 junior shooting guard is an impressive scorer who can impact the game in a variety of ways. Bass Jr. is one of the few left-handed shooters in the state and has a knack for knocking down tough, contested shots. He also has a knack where he can score off the catch and off the bounce. He plays with a ton of physicality on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder for his size. He is also very coachable on both ends of the floor as he is the son of former NBA player Brandon Bass who played for the Hornets, Mavericks, Magic, Celtics, Lakers, and Clippers.

Position: Shooting Guard/Small Forward

The 6’8 junior wing is a high-energy defender who makes havoc by using his length in the passing lanes, where he can turn steals into scores, finishing with authority at the front of the rim. He also can play at the front of the rim on the defensive end, where his quick leaping ability allows him to block and challenge shots. On the offensive end, he has a huge amount of potential to be a breakout threat as he can score at all three levels with confidence.

Peck has added a ton of strength in his frame to go along with his blend of athleticism which allows him to dominate in a variety of ways. On the offensive end, Peck is a vital three-level scorer where he can be a threat off the catch and bounce. He has also been an accurate passer from the mid-range as well as from behind the arc. Peck also has the makings of an elite rebounder and rim protector which has drawn the attention of a lot of college coaches as he’s just entering his junior season.

Position: Power Forward

The 6’9 junior forward is long and lanky and he can operate from the mid-range to behind the arc on the offensive end. He also has a very quick step where he can finish at the front of the rim on the attack punishing smaller defenders at the rim. He’s also unafraid when it comes to absorbing contact and getting to the free-throw-line. On the defensive end, he is very physical and can guard multiple positions whether it’s in the post or out on the perimeter. He’ll be an emerging prospect worth noting by the time his junior season ends.

The growth and upside in Joseph’s game continue to rise every time he steps onto the floor. His offensive skillset as a point guard has grown with a ton of maturity and confidence where he can play make as well as get his teammates involved. On the defensive side, he plays with a ton of activity where he applies great pressure around the rim and rebounds well for his size.

Position: Combo Guard

Allen, A 6-5 junior combo guard who can score well off the dribble as well as off the catch. He has a crafty game on the offensive end when he has the ball in his hands where he can make plays happen. He plays with a ton of size and physicality around the rim where he uses his strength finishing above the rim. On the defensive end, Allen can guard positions 1 through 4 with his length and is unafraid to challenge bigger opponents when it comes to guarding the rim.

Position: Small Forward

Gaskins plays with a ton of physicality and length at both ends of the floor making things difficult for the opposition. Gaskins can challenge shots at the front of the rim as well as improved quickness to cover the perimeter. On the offensive end, Gaskin has a smooth release where he can knock down shots from all three scoring levels. He has the chance to improve his athleticism around his lower body as he continues to get stronger over the next two years.

The 6-10 sophomore power forward is taking high strides so far this season, as he is averaging nearly a triple-double. Bryant plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor whether it’s finishing on the attack or his ability to rebound at both ends. He has also improved his jump shot where he is knocking down mid-range shots from 15-18 feet away from the basket. Bryant is also being heavily recruited by several D-1 schools since the start of his freshman season as his ceiling of potential gets higher.

The 6-9 junior wing has a smooth touch to his game whether it’s his shooting on the offensive end, or his ability to keep possessions alive on the glass. Constanza has the handles of a guard where he can dictate the offense as his IQ continues to rise. On the defensive end, Constanza is unafraid when it comes to guarding bigger players as his footwork is also impeccable and is a high-level matchup every time he steps onto the floor.
