Blanchard, an original UCF commit flipped his choice to Clemson on Friday morning.
On Friday morning, Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) three-star offensive lineman Gavin Blanchard flipped his pledge from UCF to Clemson.
Blanchard committed to UCF back in June after taking an official visit to Orlando. He is the No. 61 ranked offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 119 overall ranked prospect in the state of Florida for the upcoming recruiting class, according to 247Sports.
Blanchard, A 6-3 310-pound offensive lineman came to Wiregrass Ranch after playing his first three seasons at Jesuit.
Blanchard becomes the 14th member of Clemson’s 2025 recruiting cycle which includes his teammate four-star defensive back Graceson Littleton. The Tigers currently sit at the No. 17 ranked recruiting class for 2025, according to 247Sports.
He also becomes the fourth offensive lineman in the upcoming recruiting cycle where he joins Alpharetta (Ga.) four-star offensive tackle Brayden Jacobs, Liberty Christian Academy (Va.) three-star offensive tackle Easton Ware, and Iona Prep (N.Y.) three-star offensive tackle Rowan Byrne.
Clemson has been involved in Blanchard’s recruitment process for well over a year when he attended their Elite Camp as well as being a guest at their retreat last summer.
During his recruitment process, Blanchard had several power-four offers, including Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Purdue, and TCU.
