2025 Names To Know- Part 1

The 2024-2025 High School Girls Basketball season is officially underway. These are five girls basketball prospects worth noting as we head into the season:

Kendall KaneBeachside (St. John’s)

Kane knocked down 69 three-pointers while shooting at a 42 percent clip as a junior last season. Kane is versatile and can play three positions with her size. She can handle the ball, drive the ball, play in the post, and play on the wing.

Abby KnauffBolles (Jacksonville)

The 5-9 combo guard has had a terrific summer playing with more confidence and has grown in volume to score at all three levels. Knauff plays a mature game and can knock down shots in transition as well as off the catch. She is committed to playing collegiate basketball at the University of North Florida.

Sofiah MillerThe First Academy (Orlando)

Miller plays a strong inside-out game where she steps up on multiple occasions and can knock down shots from the perimeter. Miller can also be a viable threat on the interior where she is able to finish around the basket on both sides at a high rate. Miller also is a tenacious rebounder where opponents will rarely get any second chance scoring opportunities.

Savanna NicholsonCardinal Gibbons

The 5-8 shooting guard is a tough defender with active hands and is unafraid when it comes to guarding multiple positions. On the offensive end, Nicholson can hit open shots from anywhere on the court. As a junior last season, Nicholson averaged 11.0 points, 3.1 assists, and 3.0 steals per game.

Maddie WallhoffWestminster Academy

The 5-10 shooting guard is one of the best perimeter shooters in the class, as she shot 39 percent from beyond the arc this past season for Westminster Academy. Wallhoff is signed to play collegiate basketball at Palm Beach Atlantic.
