2025 3-star Wide Receiver Jayvan Boggs Commits to UCF

The former Missouri Tiger commit announced he has flipping to the home-town Knights.

COCOA, Fla.- Jayvan Boggs, A 4-star wide receiver from Cocoa, Florida will be taking his college routes close to home. Boggs announced on X on Tuesday night that he would be flipping his commitment to join UCF.

Boggs chose the Knights over Indiana, Marshall, Rhode Island, and South Florida.

Boggs, a former Missouri and Ohio State commit is the No. 46 ranked player according to the latest 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Last season as a junior, Boggs led his team in receptions (93), receiving yards (1493), and touchdowns (29), with 23 of those touchdowns coming on the receiving end.

At UCF, Boggs will join his fellow teammate offensive lineman Jaquez Joiner who committed to the Knights in September 2023.

Boggs becomes the 20th member of the 2025 recruiting class for Gus Malzahn and the Knights joining fellow 4-stars offensive tackle Chastan Brown, running back Taevion Swint, wide receiver Waden Charles, and safety Tony Williams.

Here is what 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins Scouting Report on Boggs: Thick-cut wide receiver that racks up chunks of yardage after the catch. Assembled a historic junior campaign, totaling just under 1,500 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns for Florida’s 2M champs. Displays suddenness as a route runner and will set defensive backs up with dynamic cuts and slick head fakes as he attacks leverage. Quick to locate the football and has proven to be rather sure-handed. Makes his money working the smaller numbers of the route tree as he makes it extremely difficult for would-be tacklers to get him on the ground with his advanced vision and impressive contact balance.
