2026 Names To Know (Part 1)


The 2024-2025 High School Basketball regular season is approaching the midway point. Here are five boys basketball prospects worth noting in this year’s junior class:

Jayden AristileLake Mary

The 6-3 shooting guard has a smooth jumper where he can score on all three levels, whether it’s off the catch or bounce. On the offensive end, he can be very effective whether he’s the primary ball-handler or playing off-the-ball. He’s a rising talent who could see a lot of college interest by the time his senior season rolls around.

Jordan BryantEast Lake

The 6-7 small forward has a unique skillset whether it’s being a comfortable ball-handler or finishing at the front of the rim with his athleticism. On the offensive end, he can stretch the floor where he knocks down jump shots from the mid-range as well as being able to comfortably shoot it from behind the arc. On the defensive end, he plays with a ton of versatility where he can guard positions 1 through 4 where he uses his length to challenge any shot. He will be a name worth noting as the rest of the season rolls on as well as when he gets towards the beginning of his senior season.

Dylan FosterEdgewater

The 6-3 point guard is quick and shifty when he has the basketball in his hands where he can change direction in a hurry. Foster is an efficient shooter with a high IQ as well on the offensive end and is an efficient passer where he gets his teammates involved. On the defensive end, he plays with a ton of toughness and athleticism, where he can challenge shots across all three scoring levels.

Owen McLaughlinNew Smyrna Beach

The 6-6 small forward is a matchup nightmare for opposing guards where he has a strong knack for finishing above the rim on the attack, as well as being a lethal shooter when it comes to shooting from behind the arc. He’s averaging 11.5 points and 9.2 rebounds per game while shooting 50 percent from the field this season. On the defensive end, he uses his size and frame to his advantage where he can guard either the interior as well as out on the perimeter with his elite footwork and can also attack the glass handling the basketball in transition. College coaches should get to this prospect early and often as he continues to get better every time he steps onto the court.

Ethan SabecCalvary Christian (Clearwater)

The 6-8 small forward is a rising prospect worth the attention where he’s averaging nearly 19 points and eight rebounds per game this season for the Warriors. His consistent production will draw a lot of interest from college coaches as the season rolls on. Offensively, he has a smooth inside-out game where he gets very comfortable, whether playing off the catch or bounce. On the defensive end, he is very versatile and makes a havoc of applying constant pressure on the glass.
