Florida High School Basketball Top 100 Players- Class of 2025 (70-61)

As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. We will start with the senior class, followed by juniors, and then sophomores. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.

#70 Tijan BarrieWest Oaks Academy– @tijanbarrie05 on X

Height: 6’8

Position: Power Forward

Commitment: Uncommitted

The 6’8 senior is an absolute beast when it comes to playing on the interior, as he can muscle his way to finish around the rim and gain comfort in his jump shot offensively. On the defensive end, Barrie can guard multiple positions where he uses his length and size effectively challenging shots across all three levels. He is also a high-level rebounder and can push the basketball up the floor in transition. Currently holds an offer from Edward Waters but don’t expect that to be his last offer before his senior season ends.

#69 Carl Jenkins Jr.St. Augustine– @thecarljenkins on X

Height: 6’4

Position: Combo Guard

Commitment: UCF (Football)

The 6’4 senior combo guard is an instant energy maker whether it’s his ability to score on all three levels offensively or his activity in the passing lanes on the defensive end. Jenkins has a strong knack for playing at the front of the rim where he is a high-level rebounder. He averaged 9.0 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore.

Jenkins is also a standout on his school’s football team where he had over 1,000 receiving yards as a junior.

#68 Kalvin VengetoThe Rock School– @kalvinvengeto on X

Height: 6’9

Position: Power Forward

Commitment: Uncommitted

The 6’9 senior power forward plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor as well as playing with a ton of physicality. Vengeto has great body control where he can defend around the rim without fouling as he uses his length to challenge shots. Offensively, he is very effective when it comes to playing in the pick-and-roll offense as well as stretch the floor where he can knock down shots from out on the perimeter.

#67 Dakota IzardWellington– @DakotaIzard on X

Height: 6’4

Position: Shooting Guard

Commitment: Uncommitted

Standing at 6’4, Izard has great athleticism and versatility when it comes to playing on the offensive end of the floor. He has a great feel and understanding of the game but he can be very tough when it comes to stopping him on the bounce. Izard is a three-level scorer and he is also unafraid when it comes to finishing around the rim while absorbing contact. Defensively, he has great hands and footwork where he uses his speed to jump into the passing lanes. Expect college coaches to be attracting him by the time his senior season comes to an end.

#66 Chasion WilsonLake Worth– @ChasionW on X

Height: 6’5

Position: Shooting Guard

Commitment: Uncommitted

The 6-5 senior wing has a high ceiling heading into the season as he brings athleticism, length and speed to his offensive game. He can play multiple positions whether it’s the primary point guard or playing in the post as he plays under control. On the defensive end, Wilson does a great job when it comes to challenging shots at the front of the rim as well as high-level rebounding. He is unafraid to play through contact where he added a ton of strength during the off-season. His court vision is something to also take note of as he is a strong and accurate passer while on the move.

#65 Nick WomackWharton– @Nickwomack2_ on X

Height: 6’0

Position: Point Guard

Commitment: Uncommitted

Womack is a quick and shifty guard who knows how to get to his spots on the offensive end. He is a lethal three-point shooter, whether it’s off the catch or bounce, and has very quick dribble moves. Defensively, he plays with a ton of energy, and his quick hands and feet cause a lot of turnovers for the opposition. His recruitment stock should start to pick up as his senior season gets underway in just a couple months.

#64 CJ HallHilliard– @CjHall__ on X

Height: 6’3

Position: Combo Guard

Commitment: Uncommitted

The 6’3 senior combo guard has a three-level scoring display when it comes to the offensive end as he has one of the smoothest releases in the state. He also does a very good job when it comes to getting his teammates involved whether he is the team’s primary ball-handler or playing off the ball. Defensively, Hall plays with a ton of energy where he applies a ton of havoc for opposing ball-handlers as well as being very disruptive in the passing lanes.

#63 Jaylen BatesCypress Bay– @JaylenBates111 on X

Height: 6’3

Position: Combo Guard

Commitment: Uncommitted

Bates might be one of the top-kept secrets as far as senior guards go, as he can do it all whether it’s finishing around the rim on the offensive end or getting a key rebound on the defensive side. Bates sat out his junior season due to an injury but is coming off a big summer where he put up some efficient numbers.

#62 Matas ButeliauskasDME Academy– @buteliauskas10 on X

Height: 6’7

Position: Small Forward

Commitment: Uncommitted

The 6’7 senior wing moves exceptionally well for his size whether it’s cutting towards the rim or showing a ton of activity on the defensive end. On the offensive end, Buteliauskas can score on all three levels whether it’s off the catch or bounce. On the defensive end, he plays with a ton of length where he can guard multiple positions as well as having a good understanding of the game.

#61 Andre NgomabieVictory Rock Prep– @Andrengomabie on X

Height: 6’10

Position: Power Forward

Commitment: Uncommitted

Ngomabie is not your traditional big man as he is very effective moving without the basketball and can knock down shots at all three levels on the offensive end. He also adds a very good amount of body control on the defensive end where he can challenge shots around the rim without fouling as well as getting timely blocks with his length. He has picked up offers from FIU, McNeese State and San Jose State since the summer live period.
