Florida High School Basketball Top 100 Players- Class of 2026 (70-61)


As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. After revealing the Top 100 seniors across the Sunshine State, we will now feature the junior class. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.

Kohn is a natural three-level scorer who is coming off a stellar sophomore season where he averaged 14.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.0 steals per game. Kohn’s high IQ and decision-making when on the floor has been impeccable as he knows where to find the open teammates and also is unafraid when it comes to finishing on the attack at the rim. Defensively, his versatility and length allow him to guard multiple positions and also rebounds well for his size.

Position: Small Forward

The 6’4 junior small forward has a big frame and plays with an old-school style as he is your traditional back-to-the-basket finisher and is an excellent floor runner for his size. On the offensive end, he can score in bunches, whether it’s around the rim or in the mid-range. Defensively, he is a great rebounder and has underrated athleticism, which allows him to operate in transition as well as in the half-court. Look for the junior wing to have a poised season where college coaches could start peaking interest in him.

The 6’2 junior guard is very crafty and can be creative with and without the basketball in his hands. He can create space with his movement and is very dangerous when it comes to shooting from behind the arc. Defensively, he can cause havoc with his athleticism and his will to jump the passing lanes, getting deflections or steals, which lead to baskets on the other end.

The 6’0 junior guard has a smooth and quick release, which allows him to be a threat from behind the arc on the offensive end. He has played more confidently under pressure and is very efficient when creating tight spaces. He also has a great feel and understanding of the game on the defensive end as well where he can guard on and off the ball at a high level.

Pope is a smooth and confident ball-handler on the offensive end where he can create havoc whether it’s from the perimeter or finishing on the attack. On the defensive end, Pope has shown a ton of versatility where he can guard multiple positions as well as showcase his true definition of a playmaker.

The 6’4 junior wing has a great feel and understanding of the game on the offensive end, where he can play with speed and pace. His length and athleticism allow him to play multiple positions where he can hurt you from behind the arc as well as at the front of the rim. On the defensive end, Madueme is very active on the glass where he can bruise you around for the rebound as well as having elite footwork to defend on the perimeter. He is also a very underrated passer where he can find open teammates in stride.

Parks, A 6-2 junior combo guard, can contribute on the offensive end in a variety of ways, whether it’s scoring, rebounding, or playmaking for his teammates. He is also one of the most lethal shooters from behind the arc in the class, where he can be effective off the catch or bounce. His off-the-ball movement has gradually improved keeping defenders on their toes and has a high tendency where he can also finish on the attack. Expect him to be a natural three-level scorer and a high-level defender as he heads into his junior season.

The 6’6 junior combo guard is one of the most efficient two-way prospects in the state. On the offensive end, he can bring a variety of ways to score as well as playmaking for his teammates where he averaged 10.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game last season. On the defensive end, he is very long and athletic when it comes to disrupting the passing lanes where he can get steals which lead to a layup or dunk on the other end. His perimeter game continues to improve where he has gained more confidence in taking shots from behind the arc. With more touches this upcoming season, I fully expect Hunstad to be a vital three-level scorer by the end of the high school season.

The 6’6 junior wing can be effective on all three levels on the offensive end, where he has a smooth catch-and-release on his jump shot. On the defensive end, he is very active, whether it’s guarding in the post or out on the perimeter. He is also more disciplined where he plays under control using his length to challenge shots without fouling. He also has a strong understanding on how to read defenses and body positioning where he can thrive this upcoming season. He will be a name worth keeping on your radar by the time his junior season concludes.

The 6-4 junior shooting guard has a smooth release and can knock down shots from anywhere within the half-court. Caouette plays with a high IQ and displays great handles where he forces defenders into having difficulty staying in front of him. On the defensive end, he is very unselfish and makes great reads on where the next pass is going. He’s also an above-average rebounder as well as a smooth ball-handler where he shows a ton of confidence in driving to the front of the rim.
