As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. After revealing the Top 100 seniors across the Sunshine State, we will now feature the junior class. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.

Position: Small Forward

Bryant is a typical three-level scorer who can be effective off the bounce and catch. He plays with a ton of hustle and effort on both ends of the floor where he can get to his spots. On the defensive end, his length and athleticism allow him to be an above-average rebounder as well as a great on-ball defender. The game has slowed down for him to where he has a great feel and understanding of his role as he’s in for a big junior season ahead.

Listed at 6’7 and 220 pounds, Morgan shows a great amount of athleticism when out on the floor, where he can be a huge contributor on both ends of the floor. His activity and energy on the defensive end of the floor have continued to take huge strides where he’s an excellent rebounder as well as active in the passing lanes. Offensively, he is a traditional back-to-the-basket finisher and has worked on improving his mid-range game as well. Look for Morgan to be more confident on both sides of the floor, as he showed a ton of versatility this past summer.

DiPaolo is a versatile athlete who can play above or below the rim in any given system. He has a smooth catch-and-release shot from the perimeter and plays with a high amount of effort on both ends of the floor. He is also a great passer which adds another layer to his confidence on the offensive end of the floor. On the defensive end, he is a high-level rebounder and isn’t afraid to push the basketball in transition where he can get kick-aheads which lead to baskets on the other end.

Allen, listed at 6’5, is a very long and athletic guard who plays with speed as well as pace on the offensive end of the floor. He can score off the bounce as well as the catch at a high level where he isn’t afraid of scoring through contact. On the defensive end, he can guard multiple positions using his length and athleticism, as well as being able to challenge shots against all five positions. Expect Allen to have a great junior season where he could gain a lot of college coaches on his radar real soon.

The 5-11 junior point guard has a reliable jump shot where he can score at all three levels on the offensive end. Tipton is your traditional point-guard who is a pass-first guard who can get his teammates involved whether it’s off the bounce or the catch. Tipton has a natural court-vision where he hits his teammates in stride where they can finish around the rim. Defensively, Tipton has sneaky athleticism where he rebounds exceptionally well from the guard position and can dictate the pace of the game.

The 6-0 junior point guard is really smart and plays under control where his maturity is advanced for his age. Newson is at his absolute best when he gets his teammates involved with his crisp-passing ability as well as when he gets to the rim. He is an emerging player who is shining right before our eyes on the defensive end as well where he has a strong nose for the basketball, as well as very energetic in the passing lanes. Newson checks all the boxes for a guard as he can score on all three levels, rebounds well and facilitates to his teammates on the offensive end.

The 6’0 junior point guard plays with quickness and toughness when he can get into the paint, making tough shots through traffic on the offensive end. On the defensive end, he shows quick hands and feet where he can get into the passing lanes, turning into offense in a hurry. His production should go up as he heads into his junior season as he’s gaining full maturity and confidence in his game. He is also a very crisp passer where he can find teammates on the move where he has great court vision.

The 5-10 junior point guard is tough as nails when it comes to finishing on the attack. He also has a strong knack where he can knock down shots from behind the arc off the catch as well as off the bounce as he has one of the smoothest shooting strokes in the state for his class. On the defensive end, Lane is a true floor general who can cover a lot of ground using his elite footwork as well as can guard multiple positions.

The 6’5 junior combo guard is very effective when it comes to shooting from the perimeter as he has one of the smoothest shooting strokes in the class. On the defensive end, Atwal can guard on and off the ball at a high level as he plays with good energy as well as having good length. Atwal has a bright future and is always looking to improve his game every time he steps out on the floor.

The 6’5 junior wing shows a ton of flashes in his offensive game, where he can score at all three levels. He has gained a ton of confidence when he finishes above the rim and is unafraid to play through contact. On the defensive end, he is a versatile playmaker that allows him to guard multiple positions and is an above-average rebounder. Cano’s versatility should allow him to play a key role on a contending North Broward Prep team that is destined to make a deep playoff run this season.
