As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. After revealing the Top 100 seniors across the Sunshine State, we will now feature the junior class. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.
#90 Ayden “AJ” Ambrose– Cardinal Gibbons– @AJ4ambrose on X
Height: 5’10
Position: Point Guard
Offers: N/A
The 5’10 junior point guard is more of a facilitator on the offensive end, where he isn’t your primary scorer but has a strong knack for getting teammates involved. He is an excellent decision-maker when he has the ball in his hands. Ambrose can also score through traffic at the front of the rim and knock down shots from the perimeter.
#89 Arcadian Davis– Seffner Christian– @arcadian_davis on X
Height: 6’7
Position: Small Forward
Offers: N/A
The 6’7 junior wing is long, athletic, and plays with a high motor on both ends of the floor using his versatility. Offensively, Davis is a natural scorer who can finish off the catch as well as the bounce and is unafraid when it comes to finishing through traffic. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions using his length as well as his footwork to guard the perimeter as well as the interior. Could start peaking college coaches’ interest by the time his junior season comes to an end.
#88 Brendan Gerard– St. Andrew’s (Boca Raton)– @BrendanGerard66 on X
Height: 6’0
Position: Point Guard
Offers: N/A
Gerard is a multi-level point guard where he can score as well as facilitate his teammates on the offensive end. His defensive versatility has also improved, where he can guard on and off the ball at a high level. Overall, he has gained a ton of consistency and confidence that he could make an impact this upcoming season.
#87 Dylan Flach– Jesuit (Tampa)– @yvngflacher21 on X
Height: 6’4
Position: Shooting Guard
Offers: N/A
The 6’4 junior guard has one of the smoothest releases on his jump shot I’ve seen in this class. Flach is dangerous when it comes to shooting from beyond the arc and can make defenders pay whether it’s off the catch or bounce. He also has a smooth handle to his game on the offensive end where he could play a primary point guard role at times. Defensively, he is very effective where he can guard on and off the ball at a high level and is a very underrated rebounder for his size.
#86 Braylen Moore– Lecanto– @Braaylenn on X
Height: 6’0
Position: Point Guard
Offers: N/A
The 6’0 junior point guard plays with a combination skillset of speed and athleticism on the offensive end. He is unafraid when it comes to attacking the basket as well as finishing through contact, where he has a lot of toughness. His effectiveness off the ball has drawn my attention, as he doesn’t need the basketball in his hands to make an impact. Defensively, he is very versatile where he can guard multiple positions and is very active in the passing lanes, averaging nearly three steals per game as a sophomore last season.
#85 Luke McCrimon– Kissimmee Osceola– @showtime_lukee on X
Height: 6’3
Position: Point Guard
Offers: N/A
The 6’3 junior point guard is coming off a stellar sophomore season where he averaged 18.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game. McCrimon can be very effective in the open court as well as showing a ton of confidence in finishing at the front of the rim. Defensively, he is very active when guarding out on the perimeter as he has quick hands and feet where he can turn steals into scores in a hurry. College coaches need to start showing interest in McCrimon as he is very effective on both ends of the floor.
#84 Connor Corris– Bishop Moore– @ConnorCorris7 on X
Height: 6’8
Position: Small Forward
Offers: N/A
Corris plays with a ton of length, size, and athleticism on both ends of the floor. He has a soft touch around the rim as well as having the ability to knock down shots from the outside. Defensively, Corris is a strong on-ball defender as well as having the ability to switch onto smaller players using his elite footwork and quick hands. He is an excellent rebounder and shot-blocker where he gets on time to challenge shots from all over the floor. Look for Corris to have a big junior season where he can start getting interest from college coaches.
#83 Michael Brooks-Harris– Viera– @brooks_harris2 on X
Height: 6’1
Position: Point Guard
Offers: N/A
Brooks-Harris plays with a ton of confidence in his shooting ability, whether it’s from the inside or out on the perimeter. He can also finish at the front of the rim through contact when being guarded out on the perimeter. Defensively, he is very versatile and can guard positions 1 through 3 at a high level using his length and athleticism.
#82 Isaiah Pina– South Lake
Height: 6’6
Position: Small Forward
Offers: N/A
The 6’6 junior wing plays more like a guard as he moves exceptionally well inside as well as outside the basket. He is very effective, whether it’s scoring off the catch or bounce, as he can become a vital three-level scoring threat. Defensively, he has become more disciplined when it comes to defending at the front of the rim without fouling. Offensively, he is very efficient when it comes to the pick-and-roll situations as he can be a lob threat on either side of the basket.
#81 Aaron McGee– Viera– @theAaronmcgee on X
Height: 6’2
Position: Point Guard
Offers: N/A
McGee is a traditional three-level scorer, whether it’s out on the perimeter or finishing on the attack. He also has a very quick first step when he has the basketball in his hands, as he has a smooth handle on his offensive game. Defensively, he rebounds well for his size and is very quick to get up the floor in transition, where he can be effective. He is also very active in the passing lanes where he can turn steals into scores in a hurry.
