As we get set for another high school basketball season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. After revealing the Top 100 seniors across the Sunshine State, we will now feature the junior class. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023-2024 season.
#50 RJ Ingram– Lake Highland Prep

Position: Point Guard

The 6’2 junior point guard is quick, athletic, and shifty when he has the basketball in his hands. He plays with excellent speed and pace in the open court, as well as displaying a great IQ. On the defensive end, Ingram displays active hands and quick movement in both feet when guarding out on the perimeter and is a high-level rebounder for his size. His length also allows him to be a disruptor in the passing lanes where he can turn steals into scores in a hurry.

The 6’3 junior point guard is very quick and assertive when it comes to finishing at the front of the rim. He is a distributor on the offensive end, where he doesn’t need to be the team’s primary scorer to have success. On the defensive end, his ability to read and jump passes has taken huge strides in his versatility. He’s an above average rebounder for his size and expect him to continue to elevate his game.
#48 David Watson– Divine Savior Academy

Position: Small Forward

The 6’5 junior wing has a multi-level skillset where it’s either playing on the perimeter or in the post. Watson has elite footwork for his size where he can cause havoc for opposing guards. Last season as a sophomore, Watson averaged 11.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

The 6’7 junior wing has length, athleticism, and speed to go along with his game on both ends of the floor. His versatility allows him to be effective out on the perimeter as well as in the paint. Defensively, Hallas can guard multiple positions using his length to challenge shots at all three levels. On the offensive end, he is your traditional back-to-the-basket finisher where he can be effective with either hand. Expect a ton of upside for Hallas where he could start getting college coaches on his radar really soon.

The 6’4 junior combo guard plays with a high IQ and is an excellent decision-maker when he has the basketball in his hands. On the defensive end, he plays with a ton of energy where he can make plays happen whether he’s guarding on or off the ball. He has also continued to improve his rebounding mechanics from the guard position. Gilliard will be an intriguing name to know for the next two years as he has strong intangibles to be a real good college prospect.

The 6’6 junior shooting guard checks all the boxes whether it’s his strength or pure athleticism. Palmer is one of the most pure perimeter shooters in the state for the junior class. He is also a very effective driver where he can finish on both sides of the basket and is unafraid when it comes to scoring through contact. On the defensive end, he plays with a ton of versatility where he can guard wings or guards at a high level. He is also a high-level rebounder where he can quickly push the basketball up the floor in transition.

The 6’6 junior combo guard has been putting in constant work since the end of the AAU season where he is making impressive strides. Colyer is a versatile athlete who can play out on the perimeter or in the paint. He also plays with a high IQ where he can facilitate to open teammates on the offensive end as well as having a strong motor to crash the glass. He is coming off a sophomore season where he averaged 15.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, and nearly four steals per game at North Tampa Christian.

Position: Point Guard
The 5’10 junior point guard is a true floor general and goes hard on every single possession, whether it’s on offense or defense. Swan can connect on all three levels, whether it’s off the bounce or catch, as he doesn’t let his size define his skillset. On the defensive end, he is aggressive but is very disciplined where his body control doesn’t force him to foul. He’s very active in the passing lanes where he can turn steals into scores in a hurry.

Position: Shooting Guard

Cummings is an elite shooter who can score on all three levels, whether it’s off the catch or the bounce. His handles are super strong, and he has a high IQ, displaying great confidence in his all-around game. On the defensive end, He also crashes the glass and grabs rebounds with bigger players using his athleticism. He has a bright future and can fully expect his recruitment stock to heat up following the upcoming season.

Position: Point Guard
Offers: Bryant, California, High Point, and Washington
A 6-2 junior guard who is a high-level passer and will often knock shots down from the perimeter. McFadden also plays hard-nosed defense when it comes to guarding the ball as he applies pressure where he can get strips leading to baskets on the other end. On the offensive end, McFadden can also finish strong on the rim off the bounce, where he is unafraid to get to the free-throw line. Expect him to have a big junior season where he could gain some Power-4 offers real soon.
