As we get set for another high school football season, we will be revealing our Top 100 players to watch for in their respective classes. We will start with the senior class, followed by juniors, and then sophomores. The following players are ranked by their collegiate potential and the impact they made during the 2023 season.
#80 Jayce Cora– Community School of Naples
Position: Athlete
Commitment: Uncommitted
Cora is in his first season with the Seahawks after spending each of the previous two seasons at Lely High School. He is a two-sport athlete where he also plays basketball averaging 8.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game as a junior.
Cora currently holds offers from Boston College, FIU, Illinois, Louisville, UMass, and others.
#79 Max Buchanan– Seminole (Sanford)
Position: Offensive Tackle
Commitment: Miami
As a junior last season, Buchanan earned All-Area First Team from the Orlando Sentinel. Buchanan was part of a 10-3 team where the Seminoles reached the Class 4M Regional Final. Buchanan is also ranked No. 1 in the Class of 2025 Central Florida Rankings, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
#78 Derry Norris– Spruce Creek
Position: Defensive End/Tight End
Commitment: Georgia Tech
During the 2023 season, Norris tallied 63 total tackles, 7 sacks, and 3 pass breakups. On offense, Norris was often used as a fullback where he had 5 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown. Norris helped Spruce Creek to a 7-4 record last season and reached the Class 4S Regional Quarterfinals.
#77 Kaylib Singleton– Oakleaf (Orange Park)
Position: Defensive Back
Commitment: Rutgers
As a junior, Singleton was named All-First Coast Third Team according to the Jacksonville-Times Union. Singleton tallied 27 total tackles and had an interception in 2023. He is also a standout on the track where he has a personal best of 11.00 seconds in the 100-meter dash.
#76 Joshua Guerrier– Ocoee
Position: Defensive Back
Commitment: Pittsburgh
Guerrier is an intriguing two-way prospect where he got snaps on both sides of the ball as a junior last season. Guerrier racked up 38 total tackles and an interception on defense. He also rushed for 218 yards on 30 carries and had two touchdowns on offense.
#75 Christian Neptune– Tate
Position: Wide Receiver/Defensive Back
Commitment: Uncommitted
During his junior season, Neptune caught 56 passes for 863 yards and had 7 touchdowns. Neptune is receiving heavy interest from Boston College, South Florida and Stanford, according to 247Sports.
#74 Elijah Pratt– IMG Academy
Position: Safety
Commitment: SMU
Pratt has elusive quickness when he runs a 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds. Before moving to Florida, Pratt played at Timberview High School in Mansfield, Texas participating in the high jump where he jumped 6’8″.
#73 Connor Howes– Kissimmee Osceola
Position: Offensive Tackle
Commitment: Arkansas
As a junior last season, Howes worked primarily as a defensive tackle where he was limited to just 3 games picking up 3 total tackles, according to MaxPreps. Howes decided to transfer over to Kissimmee Osceola during the off-season.
#72 Bradley Martino– Golden Gate (Naples)
Position: Wide Receiver/Defensive Back
Commitment: Minnesota
Martino got snaps on both sides of the ball as a junior last season. Martino caught 21 passes for 455 yards and 10 touchdowns. On defense, Martino was credited for 35 total tackles and 3 interceptions including one that was returned for a touchdown. He was named All-First Team in the Naples Daily News as a junior.
#71 Kaden Strayhorn– IMG Academy
Position: Offensive Tackle
Commitment: Michigan
The Detroit native made the move to Bradenton before his junior season. Strayhorn is expected to shift over to the center position where he is expected to play in Ann Arbor.
