Pringle is out at Lake Gibson following a 13-19 record in three seasons with the Braves.
After just three seasons at Lake Gibson High School, Head Coach Rich Pringle was dismissed from his duties, according to PolkWay’s Landlin May.
Pringle made just one postseason appearance in his three seasons with the Braves and went 0-1 in the 2022 playoffs.
The Braves finished with a 4-6 record in 2024, where they recorded wins over Haines City, Lake Minneola, Winter Haven, and Kathleen.
Rumors swirled that Pringle was on the hot seat following a 63-0 loss to Lakeland back on September 24 which was a make-up game from Hurricane Helene.
Lake Gibson Athletic Director Eric Haynes had no comments on the Pringle firing.
